About World Time Aligned
World Time Aligned is a free world clock and time zone meeting planner. It shows the hours of several cities side by side, so you can see at a glance what time it is everywhere and find a meeting time that works for everyone.
What you can do
- Compare cities side by side. Each city gets a row of 24 hours, lined up so every column is the same moment everywhere. The colors follow the sky, from night through sunrise and daytime to sunset.
- Convert times. Move across the hours to see the exact minute in every city, with each city's offset from UTC.
- Plan meetings. Select a time, by the hour or to the exact minute, then add it to Google Calendar, download a calendar file, or copy the times to share.
- Set reminders. Get a chime and a message when a time you've chosen arrives, while the page is open.
- See day and night live. The globe shows where the sun is up right now, with the local time in major cities.
- Search your way. Find places by city, country, UTC offset (like "UTC+5:30") or abbreviation (like "IST" or "EST").
How the times are calculated
Every time on the site comes from your own browser's time zone database, the same information your device uses for its clock. Daylight saving changes, half-hour zones and 45-minute zones are all handled automatically. When the page opens, it also checks the exact time with our web server, so the clocks stay correct even if your device's clock is a few minutes off.
Your data stays with you
There are no accounts. Your cities, settings and reminders are saved only in your own browser. You can read more in our Privacy Policy.
