These terms apply to your use of worldtimealigned.com (the "site"), provided by World Time Aligned ("we", "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. The service

The site is a free world clock and time zone meeting planner. We may change, add or remove features, or stop offering the site, at any time.

2. Accuracy of times

Times are calculated in your browser, using your device's time zone database and clock. While we aim for accuracy, time zone rules change, and your device's information or clock may be out of date or incorrect. Always double-check important times, such as meetings, travel or deadlines, with the people or organizations involved.

3. Reminders

Reminders only work while the site is open in your browser, and browsers may delay them when the page is in the background. They are not guaranteed to go off on time, or at all, so don't rely on them for anything important. For dependable alerts, add events to your own calendar.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to disrupt or overload it, access it in unauthorized ways, send spam or harmful content through the contact form, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

The site's name, logo, design, text and code are owned by World Time Aligned. All rights reserved. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, frame or redistribute them, in whole or in part, or put a copy of the site on another web address, without our written permission. Earth images are from NASA. The site uses the open-source three.js library under its MIT license.

Our free widgets are the one exception: you may show them on your own website, without charge, using the embed code from our Free widgets page, as long as you don't change them or remove the link back to World Time Aligned. We may stop or change the widgets at any time.

Copies of the site are detected automatically. If we find content copied from the site, we will ask the hosting provider and search engines to remove it.

6. Third-party services and links

The site links to or uses third-party services, such as Google Calendar, Google AdSense and Ko-fi. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

7. Support payments

Tips made through Ko-fi are voluntary contributions to support the site. They don't purchase any product, service or special access, and are generally not refundable except as provided by Ko-fi.

8. No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, World Time Aligned is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, including missed meetings or events caused by incorrect times or reminders.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
